Winter found a man that wasn’t goin’ no where. Raised hell with him and ten kids. Old now, the man gone, kids grown, mostly alone, Winter considered her life, considered the locked doors, (there was more’n one). Careful reflection brought to mind, her no account father that divorced her mother. How’s a person gonna unlock that door?!? There upon a Oh-I-see! Arrived. Mr. stick-your-finger-in-my-side, I-don’t-need-a-key, thank-you very much, JC, showed up. Showed up in a “how’s a person gonna”, desire. How’s a person gonna… forgive that lout? A good start, a real put-your-finger-on-it, that-parts-really-hurtin, My Lord and my God, prayer! Photo Attribution Sabine van Erp This Sunday’s Readings
